Due to the intensification of competition sellers have to minimize the markup or expand service. Besides, retail frequently dictates sale prices to producers. Producers naturally look for the method of abating process costs.

It ensures effective product flows, flows of funds and data flows control for providing their synchronization in the organizational structure. In every link of this complex chain there exist the loss of time, resources, money because of too long storing, irrational delivery, uncoordinated planning. If all the necessary operations for delivery of goods to ultimate consumer are regarded as a link of a single business-process, a company can achieve considerable cost reduction, decrease goods in process volume and increase profits.
